For a weekend project, I’m installing Hyper-V 2012 in my home lab. I was having troubles getting Hyper-V installed on some of my older hardware that I had set aside for it, so just decided to virtualize it on the existing VMware cluster.

I hit the phase where the newly installed Hyper-V VM simply cannot start up successfully. Lucky enough other folks have run into this before. Chris Wahl (b | t | lwrote a fantastic blog post here detailing exactly how to set up the entire stack from the top to bottom. Great post Chris!
