I’ve spent over twenty years in Information Technology, mostly working a combination of database and infrastructure architectural roles. I launched Heraflux Technologies in the fall of 2013 to help improve the performance and availability of some of the most critical database systems in the world. I also launched SQLibrium in February of 2021 to help educate data professionals on how to maximize everything underneath their data while saving money.

I am a Microsoft Data Platform MVP and VMware vExpert. I enjoy participating in the annual Microsoft MVP Summit, where I give feedback on Microsoft data platform products and tooling to help make the products and features better.
